The Gift return to us with a new LP ‘Clinic Hope‘ and offer us it’s title track single. And what a stunning pulse of energy it is. This blast of heavenly ecstasy is accompanied by a wonderful video where our characters, as we are, are drawn by an unknown force to dance together in harmony. It’s a gem, and one that is moving, energetic and wild.
Triple-speed Vangelis keyboard melodies sit upon and warm breeze of adoring synth drones, vocal harmonies and bells, whilst a throbbing eighties beat reminds us that this euphoria is short-lived. It’s no surprise then that this was produced by none other than Brian Eno who also provided a healthy dose of thoroughly creative keyboard sounds.
