Memoryy releases genre-spanning SKELETONS

On first listen to Memoryy‘s first single ‘Not Over You‘ from the album SKELETONS I was amazed how musically speaking, I’ve never really heard anything like it. Those first few sets of strings with morphed digital beats and bass synths. It was something utterly original. Of course, it was a happy surprise when this song opened up like a chrysalis into an addictive indie-pop classic with stunning vocal harmonies and addictively danceable beats, a main refrain that leaves you in utter rapture.

2016 was a great year for MEMORYY, aka electro-pop producer Shaun Hettinger. Aside from writing the new Netflix Chelsea Handler theme song, he earned his cred as “Remix King” – his official turns for Body Language, Bridgit Mendler, King Deco, and Paperwhite as well the epic Don’t Fear The Reaper” cover that originally alerted us to him– all contributed to a stellar 2016.

SKELETONS is the 3rd Memoryy album & the first full length. It is a genre-spanning pop accomplishment that features collaborations with many of Brooklyn’s finest indie artists & producers – including The Golden Pony, Brothertiger, Brain Tan, Frances Cone, and Yeasayer producer Abe Seiferth.

Hettinger is quite simply on top of his game and invigorating the genre.

SKELETONS, the album is out now.
