Pomplamoose‘s rendition of Lady Gaga‘s ‘Telephone‘ has been spinning in my head ever since I first caught their Youtube performance. The duo are at the forefront of the “Videosongs” phenomenon where the rules are simple:
- What you see is what you hear. (No lip-syncing for instruments or voice)
- If you hear it, at some point you see it. (No hidden sounds)
We like this alternative approach to recording and presenting music and we like this cover. KUDOS!
