I’ve been meaning to feature Trophy Wife for a while and the release of ‘The Quiet Earth‘/’White Horses‘ gives me just that opportunity.
The band, who humorously describe their sound as “ambitionless office disco“, have made quite a reputation for themselves with the Moshi Moshi release ‘Microlite‘ at the tail end of 2010.
This double A-side release is more of the same from the Oxford trio and that is a good thing. A very good thing indeed.
