With the 2012 European Championships kicking off today in Poland and Ukraine it was glad to see that Screaming Maldini, named partly in tribute to the greatest defender that has ever lived, produced their own England track for the tournament.
The fun-loving Sheffield band delivers a slightly nonsensical yet completely delightful matching video which sees them battle a team of T-Rex, often literally, on the field. The single is free to download until England are knocked out of the tournament so my tip is to get it soon before it’s too late.
Screaming Maldini will be releasing a new album later in the year on n Alcopop! Records (UK/Ireland) and Hip!Hip!Hip! (Rest of the World)
P.s. Listen carefully because “Tyrannosaurus Kicks” samples the Jurassic Park theme song and that is a cool thing
