We all know that one of the best parts of going to a live show is seeing what else the band can bring to the table. A familiar song can feel brand new. It’s disappointing then, if you feel like the band’s just playing the album you’ve heard a million times.
So for the epic-experience-hungry crowd at Bonnaroo this year, Little Dragon delivered when they closed their set with this meandering, synth-heavy version of “Precious.” It showed a totally different side of the band – a side that could throw a rave!
Who knew?!
While an extended cut of “Precious” seems to be a common closer for the band, the video above is the only one I’ve found that has this electro-dance vibe.:
