Retro tinged rockers L.F.N.T released their single excellent “What Passes Off For Love” over the summer in anticipation of a soon to be released second full length.
The band’s name is an acronym for frontman’s Ran Nir‘s life philosophy: Live Free Not Troubled. or In other words – live like an elephant. Nir was a founding member of platinum selling Asaf Avidan & The Mojos and had been working on the tracks that would go on to make the bulk of L.F.N.T‘s early material while touring around the world with that outfit.
Having recruited some talented friends the band became a 5-piece and began to take a life of its own. With an eclectic set of songs and an electrifying live show here is a band that is going from strength to strength.
Now they are heading to Germany for a few shows including scheduled performances at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg as well as a show at The Forum in Bielefeld.
If you are around for those dates we strongly recommend catching them and judging for yourself.
“What Passes Off For Love” is out now.
