The first single from Swedish/American duo Flora Cash‘s mini-LP sounds like a winter song, could be Swedish influences as this song was recorded in a small apartment in Stockholm.
With a tasteful introduction that gradually sinks in this is a track that relies heavily on melancholia; it’s foundations set by a steady strum of the guitar and measured piano work. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself smiling and crying at the same time when listening to the lyrics, especially when matched with the video.
I’m usually not a huge fan of duets or songs sang by a male and a female vocalist, however this time I’m totally drawn into it. When Shpresa‘s haunting vocals start, I know for sure that I will be keeping a track of this couple.
