Vienna Ditto‘s track “Ticks“, the title track from their recently released 7-track EP, introduces itself with a confident swagger and demands your attention. It’s winning mishmash of surf guitars, film noir drama and good old fashioned 90’s indie charm is custom built to be played on loop.
Hatty Taylor (vocal and synth) and Nigel Firth (guitar) initial meeting revolved around the latter teaching an 11 year old Taylor how to play guitar. Some years have passed since then and the duo reconnected to form Vienna Ditto quickly setting their base of Oxford alight with their captivating sound.
