Melody Federer has lead a life many dream of in the pursuit of music. Leaving her hometown of Dallas to move to Paris to eventually relocated to Los Angeles when her duo was offered a record deal. While this project would eventually implode Melody was able to land on her feet securing a publishing deal that would see her go on to write for some of pop’s biggest talents.
It’s now time to turn the focus back on to the singer’s own material and “Standing” is an ideal track to do that. Mixing powerful crescendos with honest lyricism the track is a hand-on-heart declaration of love and is worth repeat listens
The accompanying heart warming video juxtaposes candid family moments with genuine reactions from people interacting with the singer and makes for great viewing.
