It’s crazy to think that Justice‘s bombastic debut “†” was unleashed on the world almost a decade ago. Tracks like “D.A.N.C.E.” and “Phantom Pt. II” were seemingly ever present from the moment they were unleashed in the summer of 2007.
On their 2016 release “Woman” the Parisian duo still sound as fresh and as confident as on that debut. They may have toned down a little of their ear-spitting moments (although tracks like “Chorus” and “Heavy Metal” would beg to differ) in favour of a sleek 70’s disco taste but every one of these ten tracks feels essential.
Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay often get mentioned in the same breath as another international DJ duo from France but the Justice discography contains countless hits and “Woman” is further evidence of that.
