Dana and The Wolf‘s recent single “Got Me Poly” is quite obviously an ode to polyamorous relationships. The members Dana Lynn Hobson and Daniel Wolf have been in a relationship for some time yet feel they don’t want to play the game as it’s currently defined. With this tracks delivery who am I to disagree.
There is a real snarl in the vocal deliveries as well as, I suspect, a knowing grin as the couple lay out their worldview in quick bursts on the verses before hypnotizing with the unforgettable vocal refrain.
Regardless of your position (or lack thereof) on this taboo subject, I dare anyone to tell me the edgy “Got Me Poly” isn’t utterly infectious.
