WORLDS is the new collaboration between Erica Driscoll, one half of brilliant sibling duo Blondfire, and Anthony Polcino aka Antoine Diligent. The Los Angeles duo come together to produce completely addictive pop numbers with a twist and on the basis of their first couple of offerings, this is a partnership worth keeping an eye on.
Take their debut release “Good Shit“, a track that’s worth a listen on the basis of its title alone and sounds like a long lost Serge Gainsbourg gem remixed by his compatriots Phoenix. boasting shimmering guitars and alluring keyboards the track possesses bag loads of charm.
Elsewhere “Strange Feeling” sounds like Everything But The Girl covering Fleetwood Mac‘s “Dreams“. The track mixes an acoustic guitar progressing with futuristic sounds and an enchanting vocal melody to perfect effect while never seeming to break a sweat.
The chemistry between these two is apparent and we eagerly await whatever is coming next.
