Violinist, singer and dancer Tania Vinokur has truly had a whirlwind career that has seen her perform all over the globe and release music in a multitude of genres. As if to reinforce this statement a quick look through her social media profiles suggests she has played as far as Bangkok and Madrid just recently.
The release of her latest EP ‘In Time‘ focuses on the first of the three talents listed above and seems like the next logical step in her career highlighting her classical influences and blending them with Spanish, Balkan and Eastern European sounds. Over the course of 5 songs, Tania shows that even an instrumental release can offer multiple emotions without losing sight of its central theme. ‘In Time‘ is at times playful and triumphant, at times considered and melancholic, occasionally upbeat and sometimes forlorn but always masterful and fulfilling.
