Elodie Rêverie first came to our attention in 2020, and I found myself returning to her sound many times since then, eager to see what her next step will be.
The Brooklyn native relocated to Los Angeles and began working on her music in 2019, and the results are multifaceted and gratifying.
The latest release, “Red Carpet“, is a sultry number built on offbeat keyboards stabs and a hypnotic vocal melody. At time appearing to be a lover’s lament and other times sounding like a haunted nursery rhyme, it grabs your attention throughout and doesn’t let go.
